The main station is around 340 metres from the building, a good five
minutes on foot. From there the S 11 runs to Halle and on via Mücheln
to Querfurt, alongside the RE 16 and RB 25 regional services. Halle main
station is about a quarter of an hour away.
There is no direct rail connection
to Leipzig, you change at Halle or Großkorbetha. If you are in
a hurry, take the PlusBus line 131 or drive via the B 181 and A 38,
around forty minutes.
Tram line 5 stops two minutes’ walk away and runs every half hour from
Halle-Ammendorf via Schkopau and Leuna through to Bad Dürrenberg, one
of the longest tram lines in Germany and, for commuters without a car,
the single most important connection.
By car: the A 38 and A 9 are minutes away, Leipzig/Halle Airport just
under thirty kilometres. And a lockable space in the underground garage
belongs to every apartment, in a pedestrian zone, that is the real
argument.
